Job Description

Reporting to the Team Leader and Foreman, the Industrial Painter performs various painting-related tasks, including applying powder coating, carrying out colour changes, maintaining equipment, inspecting finished work, and following company procedures and quality standards.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Apply powder coating using the electrostatic process.
Push and pull racks with parts in and out of convection ovens.
Perform colour changes as required.
Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment.
Self-inspect completed work to ensure quality standards.
Diagnose and resolve application, surface treatment, and curing issues.
Conduct quality inspections of painted parts.
Maintain inventory of paints and related components.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Ability to communicate in French.
Strong attention to detail and precision.
Comfortable working in hot environments (especially in summer).
Fast learner with a proactive mindset.

Assets

High School Diploma (Secondary 5).
Experience in an industrial environment.
Training and experience in electrostatic painting.
Availability for overtime work.
Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle, if required.
