Welder / Assembly

Job description

• Assemble the various metal parts (steel structure) of our training and body-building equipment.
• MIG weld assemblies.
• Read, understand, and follow drawings to deliver equipment that meets quality standards.
• Oxygenate parts as needed.
• Use various tools such as grinders, pneumatic tools, measuring tapes, etc.
• Ensure that welded surfaces are polished before sending assembled and welded devices to the paint shop.
• Comply with all Atlantis health and safety procedures.

Requirements

• DEP in welding.
• 12 to 18 months of welding experience in a manufacturing environment. (preferred but not required)
• Excellent understanding and good assembly skills.
• Ability to communicate in French.
• Dynamic and resourceful.
• Minutia and manual dexterity.
• Ability to work with various tools.
• Ability to read and understand various drawings and written instructions.
• Ability to meet tight production deadlines.
• Diligence and punctuality.

Assets

• Availability for overtime hours.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to dispose of a motor vehicle if required.
• Good knowledge of gym equipment and drills.

*Welding and assembly skills will be technically assessed during the selection process*.
