The Atlantis DNA, Manufacturing

Forged here. Proven everywhere.

Every Atlantis machine begins and ends under one roof in Laval, Québec. From raw steel to final stitch, nothing leaves our floor until it earns our name.

How it works

From steel to strength

Five stages. Zero shortcuts. This is how a machine built for decades of daily punishment takes shape (designed, cut, welded, tested and finished by the same hands, in the same building).

01

Design and engineering

Our engineers model every pivot, cam and load path around real biomechanics, refined with feedback from elite coaches and athletes before a single bar of steel is cut.

02

Materials selection

We source high-density steel and commercial-grade components, inspected on arrival. If a bar, bearing or bolt does not meet spec, it never reaches the production line.

03

Fabrication and welding

Precision cutting, bending and machining shape each frame. Welders then fuse every joint to structural standards, welds strong enough to back a 10-year structural warranty.

04

Quality control

Every weld is inspected. Every frame is measured, load-tested and cycled before approval. One flaw sends the piece back (no exceptions, no second-tier units).

05

Upholstery and finishing

Frames receive a durable powder-coat finish, then our upholstery team cuts, sews and mounts every pad by hand. Final assembly and inspection happen before anything ships.

Our edge

Local, by choice

Since 1982, we have refused to outsource what defines us. Keeping design, fabrication and finishing in Laval means we control every tolerance, every weld and every detail that decides whether a machine lasts five years or fifty.

Local manufacturing is not nostalgia, it is accountability. When the people who design a machine walk the same floor as those who weld it, problems get solved in hours, and quality becomes a habit rather than a checkpoint.

Our strengths

Why it lasts decades

01

Premium materials

High-density steel frames, commercial-grade bearings and industrial finishes (every component chosen to outlast the room it is installed in, not just the warranty card).

02

Continuous innovation

Biomechanics research carried out since 1982 feeds directly into the shop floor. Each new generation of machines is tested, torn down and rebuilt until the movement feels inevitable.

03

Built-in durability

Over-engineered frames and a 10-year structural warranty. Atlantis machines from the eighties still run in commercial gyms today, that is our benchmark.
