The Atlantis DNA
Buying guide
A great equipment list still fails if the floor cannot breathe. This guide walks through footprints, circulation and zoning so members flow safely and every machine earns its square footage.
Every Atlantis machine ships with a footprint given as length by width by height, in inches and centimetres. Plan from those numbers, not from estimates. A large plate-loaded station can occupy roughly 6 to 8 ft (183 to 244 cm) in length once you add plate storage and a working perimeter around it.
Leave clear lanes so members never cross a loaded platform to reach a machine. Plan main aisles around 3 ft (91 cm) and keep generous clearance behind seated stations for entry and spotting. Good circulation lowers injury risk, protects your equipment and simply makes a busy floor feel calm.
Group the floor by intent: a free-weight and platform zone, a plate-loaded strength zone, a selectorized circuit and a stretch or accessory corner. Zoning keeps noisy heavy lifting away from quieter isolation work and lets you tune each sector to the goal it serves, whether that is muscle mass, raw force or endurance.
Rack systems anchor the free-weight zone. The C513-8 and RS613-8 Power Racks 8' carry attachment slots on all four sides, so you can build stations outward rather than add floor units. Pair them with the matching B4872 platform, 337.8 by 243.2 cm, an engineered maple surface in a satin finish with a steel frame contour, and your custom logo available.
